OUR WEEK 1 PRODUCTION PHOTO JOURNAL

Check out our week 1 photo journal compiled below & learn more about our plan for BTS production updates in the future!

As we've shared on social media, our first shoot day occurred last Wednesday (2/08/2023) at Bull Feeney's Irish Pub in Portland, ME. We are so excited to be starting production, and thanks to the hard work of our talented set photographer and lead gaffer Travis Harden, you'll see plenty of BTS moments throughout production for The City of Servers.

The following photo-journal contains photos from the first week of production--granted, we only had one shoot, so the photos we share this time will be limited. However. you can expect a similar production photo-journal posts each Monday, summarizing and showing BTS moments from our shoot days for the week until we wrap production in late March!

This first shoot was a fun start to the production window, featuring beautiful & enlivening Irish songs performed by one of our feature artists, Jim Brady (visit his website here). We also captured various other footage, including b-roll inside/outside Bull Feeney's Irish Pub and live action of food and drinks served within the pub. We had six crew members for this shoot--including our Producer/Director, DP, 1st Camera Operator, Lead Gaffer/Set Photographer, and one of our Sound Operators. The space has limited lighting, given we were shooting at night, but as you'll see below, our talented camera team can make the best of not-so-ideal situations.

Without further ado, here is our photo journal for this first week of production!

About Our Set Photographer

Brief bio: I am a Southern Maine based photographer, DJ, and videographer. I first started learning how to DJ when I was 14 years old, working with my Dad, and have done it myself professionally for the last 7 years. I fell in love with the art of photography in 2020, and decided to turn my COVID hobby into a career. Portrait photography is one of my favorite styles to shoot. So many people say they don't like being photographed because they don't think they look good in photos. I believe that everyone deserves a moment to feel beautiful, and I want to help show people the beauty that I, and everyone else, sees in them. When I'm not behind a camera or in a DJ booth, I can be found on stage either acting or building sets. I also like to spend my time skiing, hiking, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
