OUR WEEK 5 production PHOTO JOURNAL

Check out our photo journal compiled below & learn more about the previous week of production for The City of Servers.

Our production schedule is coming to a close for The City of Servers, but we still have some significant interviews to conduct and important b-roll footage to capture. We've been hard at work planning reenactment scenes with our team of talented actors (read about them here), scouting locations for exterior location shoots, assembling a powerful post-production team, and more.

We also have some other major announcements and projects in the works. The first item of note is the design of our movie poster, which will be completed by Gina Sterling--a local graphic designer with incredible talent that we are honored to be working with. You can visit her website here or follow her on Instagram (@stxrling.stxdio)-- a biography will also be posted on our page soon enough!

In addition, our Indiegogo campaign recently ended, and we are happy to share that we raised $3,589 after setting an initial goal of $2,500. We are so grateful for the support we've seen from our community and cannot wait to return the favor come our premiere at Portland, ME's beloved Nickelodeon Cinema in May. On that note, stay tuned for updates-- an initial screening date has been confirmed for our first location, and we will share this date via social media soon!

This past week, we had the opportunity to sit down with Victoria Pelletier: Portland's District 2 City Councilor. We covered a range of topics pertaining to local hospitality and Portland's food industry. We also had the chance to revisit conversations around the relocation of local food trucks, which you can learn more about by watching this short documentary produced by our director Elora Griswold last summer.

Thankfully, the Maine weather was somewhat forgiving for production this week. All photos were gathered and edited by our set photographer Travis Harden, who was able to commute to our set safely. You can connect with Travis by reading the brief biography included below our photo gallery.

Without further ado, here is our photo journal for this week of production!

About Our Set Photographer

Brief bio: I am a Southern Maine based photographer, DJ, and videographer. I first started learning how to DJ when I was 14 years old, working with my Dad, and have done it myself professionally for the last 7 years. I fell in love with the art of photography in 2020, and decided to turn my COVID hobby into a career. Portrait photography is one of my favorite styles to shoot. So many people say they don't like being photographed because they don't think they look good in photos. I believe that everyone deserves a moment to feel beautiful, and I want to help show people the beauty that I, and everyone else, sees in them. When I'm not behind a camera or in a DJ booth, I can be found on stage either acting or building sets. I also like to spend my time skiing, hiking, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
